Responsibilities
The supervisor is the first official contact for township business or complaint and is often perceived as the township spokesperson. Duties include moderating meetings, appointing members of boards, serving as chief assessing officer and head administrative officer of the budget. Their authority is limited by statue and delegated by the township board but, the reflection of the townships ability to legally, fairly and satisfactorily serve in the best interest of it's citizens begins with the supervisor.
